“As my first Dungeon Master, Dax guided me through building my first character, coming up with a backstory, the rules and nuances of the game, and dealing with the soul-crushing pain of premature character death.

I have a hard time separating my love for D&D from the experiences I had playing in Dax’s campaigns, as they are entwined. He is truly an immersive, collaborative Dungeon Master. His storytelling skills draw you in, and around every corner are wonders and delightful surprises. (Even the “bad” surprises are somehow still delightful.)

But beyond the power of his own words and narrative comes the power of knowing that YOU also helped create this story. Dax has a deft hand when it comes to weaving in backstories, giving characters important crossroad choices, and making sure that you, the player, are having a good time and telling the story you want to tell.
